About me
I am a board-certified psychiatrist living and working in San Francisco, California. I completed my undergraduate with a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, obtained my M.D. at Tulane University along with a Masters in Public Health, and completed psychiatry residency at UC San Diego.
I pride myself in working with a wide range of individuals, including people with depressive disorders, anxiety or obsessive problems, ADHD, bipolar disorder, pregnancy and new parents (including dads!), psychosis, substance use and other addictive disorders, and relationship difficulties.
I’ve worked in county clinics with MediCal recipients, within prestigious academic institutions (including 3 years as a professor at UCSF in specialty clinics for chronic psychosis and as the lead clinician for the UCSF perinatal mental health program), and in general outpatient work. I am now the Medical Director at Camden Center SF, which provides intensive mental health and substance use treatment with a wonderful team of therapists and other clinicians.
In my private practice, I will work with you to use my clinical knowledge and expertise to help you live life best as you define it. I take my role as a doctor seriously, and will always keep your own experience, values, and goals at the center of our work together.
I am glad to work with people on a broad range of issues, including many that don’t fit neatly into diagnostic categories. Below are some examples of areas of particular interest and expertise; if you believe I may be able to help you or a loved one, please get in touch.
